That’s me. Chris.

NHS Biomedical Scientist by day.
Bowel urgency problem-solver by night.

I designed this for me.

I wanted something discreet, practical and made for real life — not something that made me feel pushed straight into bulky incontinence products.

For years, I struggled with bowel urgency and unpredictable gut days.

Existing products often felt oversized, noisy, uncomfortable or designed mainly for urinary incontinence.

IB3 exists to inspire confidence, not shame.

Including mucus, wind-related leaks and occasional accidents.

Unpredictable gut days

Constant or heavy bowel accidents

Higher-capacity protection may be safer.

Large-volume leakage

FAQ

You get a lot of time to think when you spend half a music festival sat on a port-a-loo.

In the midst of my worst flare to date, i could not find a discreet pad. The best amazon could offer was a super bulky giant babies nappy. That felt degrading.

Just making it to work became a challenging roadtrip of toilets.

Then i has a music festival that i was determined to go to. And well, i had a lot of time to think sat on them port-a-loos.

So IB3 was born.

It was going to be discreet.

A faecal incontinence pad made specifically for IBD., that understood life doesn't stop with IBD. A pad made for life, not the hpsital bed.

It's a faecal incontinence pad to be designed to be discreet. Thats it.

But theres a lot more to it. Having a discreet pad gives you confidence, which in turn reduces anxiety. anxiety that allows you freedom to leave the house. Live life, even in the midst of flares.

This was one of the big problems i discovered whilst looking for current options. I don't want all that bulk at the front, nor do i need absorption of 2 litres of liquid.

Ours are shaped and designed for faecal only. Less bulk, better shape design. More discreet and improved comfort.

(Still) Working as a senior biomedical scientist in haematology at a busy NHS hospital. Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when i was around 23.

Now 33, I've dedicated the last decade to healthcare in the U.K. but felt IBD needed as much focus and energy as we can muster.

After struggling for years with my least favourite symptom (yup I'm talking about urgency), there was a lack of conversation around it, and most significantly a lack of products.

Donating 10% to charity, giving as many pads out for free whoever needs them. IB3 is my small personal attempt and tackling my own diagnosis and trying to help others in the process.
